During on-site audits, hotel assessments cover a total of 239 criteria, including the following areas:
- General Hotel Info
- Reception and Services
- Rooms
- Food and Beverages
- Event Facilities (MICE)
- Leisure
- Quality and Online Activities
The rating is used to categorise hotels into one of five standard star categories, with an additional category available if a superior supplement is included for each star rating. Each classification is valid for a limited period of time, ensuring that hotels are reviewed on a regular basis.
