During on-site audits, hotel assessments cover a total of 239 criteria, including the following areas:

  • General Hotel Info
  • Reception and Services
  • Rooms
  • Food and Beverages
  • Event Facilities (MICE)
  • Leisure
  • Quality and Online Activities

The rating is used to categorise hotels into one of five standard star categories, with an additional category available if a superior supplement is included for each star rating. Each classification is valid for a limited period of time, ensuring that hotels are reviewed on a regular basis.
