Through the Ederbergland

The charme of this trekking route lies within the varied landscape of the route course along the Eder. The Ederhöhenpfad guides you from Hatzfeld through the nature and national park Kellerwald-Edersee until the Urwaldsteig at Edersee. Experience the romantic half-timbered buildings of historic cities, castle ruins und monasteries, which arise from the mountains at the edge of the level.

The Erdhöhenpfad leads through mostly hilly areas and is therefore a more challening trekking path. Only a small part is asphalted, largely it consist of natural track and forest paths.
