The face of the Ruhr Area

Furnaces, gasometer and winding towers characterize the face of the Ruhr Area. This route develops ist industry-cultural heritage and makes it so alive and literally  "tangible".

To ist core belong 24 so called anchor points, at which the whole wide and diversity of attractive industry cultural experience places are anchored to. Visitors of all ages are able to experience the industry culture here: through interesting tours, multimedia presentations and outstanding events.

13 significant settlements of different eras as well as 15 viewpoints known as "Panoramas of the Industrial Landscape" belong to it.
