The Ruhr connects two regions, which couldn´t be more differently: on the one hand the Sauerland with its forested hills which become the largest ski area North the Alps during Winter, and on the other hand the conurbation Ruhr area with its cities characterized by minig and industry.

The Ruhr Valley cycle route offers nature as well as culture lovers special experiences. Equally it is suitabel for excursions with children.
