Contemplative idyll along the Moselle
The Moselle rises in the French Vosges and its valley is famous for its midl climate and its excellent wines.
From Metz starts the cycle route which is characterized by vineyards beginning at Luxemburg. Below the vineyards cosy little places and small towns nestle to the slopes and you will come across testimonies of the intensive Roman colonization.
The cycle route leads partly on its own roads, partly on streets accompanying. The only smaller slopes and the broad asphalting make this cycle route easy to bike. The signs are good but differently in Germany and France.
