The Hotelstars Union was founded in 2009 under the patronage of HOTREC – Hospitality Europe and incorporated as AISBL in 2021.

The Hotelstars Union offers a harmonized hotel classification with common criteria and rules of action in each participating country.

Im Jahr 2009 wurde unter der Schirmherrschaft von HOTREC – dem europäischen Dachverband für Hotels, Restaurants und Cafés – die Hotelstars Union gegründet.

Diese Partnerschaft bietet in allen teilnehmenden Ländern eine harmonisierte Hotelklassifizierung mit gemeinsamen Kriterien und Richtlinien.
